Cluny Bistro Wedding | Jordan & Skander

Restaurant nuptials bring a unique type of charm, perfectly suited for couples looking for a bit of intimacy. Meet Jordan and Skander, a couple who travelled from Los Angeles to Toronto to make it official with their Cluny Bistro wedding.

Against the backdrop of the historic Distillery District and its quintessential redbrick walls, a close personal friend of the couple presided over the ceremony on a sunny Saturday in early June. After signing the Ketubah (and smashing the glass!), Jordan, Skander and I wandered the area to make use of the classic distillery architecture, and some not-so-classic backdrops (hello, Love sign!).

The couple opted for an intimate afternoon lunch to celebrate their marriage, and, with a guest list of 9 in attendance, they toasted and dined in a private room within the classic French restaurant. Also in attendance was special guest, Tetew (hand-made by the groom’s mother!), a nod to Skander’s early start as a writer. Tetew, along with a collection of memorabilia from the groom’s childhood made for a incredibly sentimental and meaningful gathering full of heartfelt moments and sweet memories.
