Vineland Estates Wedding | Anne & Silas

Where do I even begin with Anne and Silas’ Vineland Estates wedding? A joyful, sweet and impossibly lovely couple, Anne and Silas chose Vineland Estates Winery as the backdrop for their early June nuptials. To boot, we were graced with bright blue and sunny skies throughout the duration of the day, followed by a warm temps and a star-filled sky in the evening.

The couple rented a guest house on the property of Alvento Winery, a short drive from the venue, as the backdrop for their pre-wedding photos. The property was surrounded by willow trees and vineyards; a perfect accompaniment to Anne’s Laudae gown, and some of the sweetest first-look photos I’ve truly had the pleasure photographing!

Vineland Estates also offers guests the option of touring their cellars for an intimate and incredibly romantic backdrop and luckily, Anne and Silas were up for the challenge. Some of my favourite photos from this day are the ones we took together in the cellar, followed by the few snaps we took together in the vineyard after dinner. (Hint: Always, always take some time to step away from the events of the day to capture some photos of you and your person amidst the hustle and bustle – you may not get another opportunity otherwise!)

Anne and Silas hired Peaches and Cream Weddings, the incredibly talented folks behind the planning and arrangements that day, as well as one of my favourite vendors, The Record Collective, to spin classic vinyl all evening. I may be biased, but there’s nothing I love more than classic tunes during dinner (I see you: Eric Clapton).
