Alannah and Leah hadn’t originally intended to take engagement photos prior to their wedding, but at the last minute, the couple contacted me to inquire about meeting at the Evergreen Brickworks. On a crisp, spring day in April, I joined the girls and their dog for a walk through the historic grounds. Unbeknownst to me, the Evergreen Brickworks was the original site of Leah’s proposal to Alannah! As such, the location held even more sentiment and meaningfulness.
Together, we hiked to the top of the hill where the proposal had taken place. We were fortunate enough to catch the uninterrupted vistas of the Don Valley and the surrounding area and without much interruption. Here, we captured what are my favourite images from our engagement shoot together. We shared laughs, tears and happy thoughts as we discussed their upcoming wedding day.
Thinking of an Evergreen Brickworks engagement session? Let’s talk! The grounds offer a plethora of both natural and industrial backdrops, not to mention a number of walking and hiking paths for your furry friends.
