I was fortunate enough to meet Drea and Simon when they came across my Instagram profile and suggested we meet in person over coffee in Roncesvalles. When they shared the vision for their city hall wedding, I knew instantly that they were a couple I wanted to capture. Their desired coverage was simple; a city hall ceremony, family photos in Nathan Phillips Square and a few shots of Drea and Simon, newly-wed, in and around Osgoode Hall. To boot, they invited only their closest family and friends to witness their nuptials which made for an incredibly intimate event.
The only thing I loved more than the couple was Drea’s elegantly-coordinated gown and Simon’s perfectly-tailored suit. The florals, which were locally provided by Toronto’s Wildhood, were echoed by Drea’s stunning manicure (with real gold-leaf!) and soft makeup. To this day, Drea is still one of my favourite and most-memorable brides.
